Question 4th of July

Where's you favorite place to party in Myrtle Beach on the 4th? North Myrtle? Barefoot Landing? At home?

In Myrtle itself. There's usually a concert before the fireworks and some kind of other entertainment. Broadway at the Beach has a pretty good show, at least it did the only time I went.

Yeah, Myrtle Beach has several events lined up, including one at Coastal Federal Field, and a charity soccer tournament that benefits the dependents of soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

Put together a guide to the 4th of July on the Grand Strand, you can read it here.

If anyone hears of anything I missed, drop me a line and let me know!

Thanks for the tips on Myrtle Beach 4th events coming up. I'll be adding to the info soon. By the way, if you get some great photos during the festivities, don't forget to send 'em in for our photo contest!

You can contact the event organizers at 706/402-4460. The tournament is taking place on the fields next to the YMCA, so you could also try calling them. They should have some contact information for you.

This is for a great charity, and it couldn't be more appropriately timed - and it's a great way to get the familiy outside together!
