1st Annual O'Houligan's Ball
Legend has it that because the Irish were social outcasts, they were not invited to any of the New Orleans society Mardi Gras celebrations. In the early 1800’s, they decided to create an event that they could participate in. It was known as O’Houligan’s Ball! Attendees dressed in outrageous costumes that were intended to mock the popular society gatherings. For the first time in nearly one hundred years, this very unique event will take place in the city of New Orleans, and you are invited. Fine food & live entertainment will be enjoyed by all, and each guest will receive a favor to commemorate the occasion. As with the original event, only 400 tickets will be available. The party starts at 8:00 p.m. at O'Flaherty's Irish Pub. Tickets are $50 per person.
