French Quarter Festival
It's April already and the weather in New Orleans is perfect!
What this time of year also means is that it's "festival season" here. Of course there's Jazz Fest, but the lesser known French Quarter Fest has fast become one of New Orleans' biggest draws for tourists. Once known as the "Locals" fest...the French Quarter Festival now attracts almost 500,000 people for the great live music, great (reasonably priced) food and the wonderful atmosphere of the Quarter and the Riverfront. It's taking place April 9-10-11 and there's still hotel rooms available around town. Don't miss out on this TRULY unique and naturally New Orleans experience! -Gene
