Over $31,000 raised in 1 hour across cluster PLUS thousands helped through overwhelming community support

Panama City, FL, -- September 1, 2005 – Continuing the efforts started yesterday the 92.5 WPAP, Sunny 98, and Beach 99.3 morning shows raised an enormous amount of money, $31,012, in one hour today.

The message boards continue to fill up with citizens offering up services to evacuees. Message boards are located across all Clear Channel websites. See list below.

Iin response to this effort, Comcast and Knology are both offering free web service at the Red Cross shelter at the Fairgrounds. Plus, City Net is offering free wireless service at select locations.

Plus, local hurricane coverage from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama is available on AM590 throughout the next week or so. The coverage is an actual live feed from local Clear Channel radio and TV stations in the affected markets.
