Exclamation First Katrina... Now Rita?!

Looks like New Orleans isn't in the clear just yet. Much of the rain on the northern side of Hurricane Rita will pass over New Orleans and cause more flooding issues.

Just checked our New Orleans Live Web Cam and it's still sunny. Rain should be moving in this evening. Hope the levees hold, and allow the rebuilding of New Orleans to continue without interruption.

So far so good...

Other than some wind (check out the tattered American Flag), it looks like a normal day in the Big Easy. I see cars driving by and people walking. Maybe the storm is staying far enough south that the majority of the rain will miss New Orleans. Sure hope so.

Looks like one of the levees has been breached again and the 9th Ward is flooding. But officials are hopeful the other levees will hold and prevent flooding any other areas.

Yahoo! News: Rita Causes New Flooding in New Olreans

Fortunately everything looks okay on Exchange Alley in the French Quarter. (check the live cam). N.O.TV office may survive again....
