Cool

There's going to be another stellar lineup, from all indications - Lenny Kravitz, Melissa Etheridge, Phil Lesh, Wynton Marsalis, Jimmy Buffett, Bonnie Raitt and Teddy Pendergrass.

There'll be literally dozens of bands playing throughout the French Quarter every day of Jazz Fest, so you'll find something enchanting to listen to whenever you turn... this is soooo New Orleans...

Jazz Fest starts this Friday! Lenny Kravitz and Karl Dennison's Tiny Universe are the headliners for the first night...

There are a few things to keep in mind if you're going this year - everyone, and their vehicles, are subject to search. RV's and charter buses can no longer use the on-site parking, or drop passengers off.

Only 12 pack soft coolers will be allowed in... no pets, tents, or video recording equipment.

Other than that, it's all good, and it'll all be great!

Jazz at the Palm Court, part of the Jazz Fest evening series, is presenting multi-talented Linda Hopkins tonight at 8pm.

It's in the Quarter, if you're in town, or heading in, give Linda a listen - she plays jazz, blues and gospel!

Tomorrow night, it's New Orleans Jazz Revue with Juanita Brooks, Topsy Chapman and Big Al Carson, Lars Edegran, Mark Brooks, Ernest Elly, Fred Lonzo, Duke Heitger and special guest Butch Thompson. All at the Palm Court.
