Getting psyched to head down to NOLA for the 2nd weekend of Jazzfest! I wanted to give everyone the heads up about a ticket giveaway for 3 great night shows this weekend- Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night! A pair of tickets to all three shows will be given out!

All three shows are at The Studio at Colton Theater, at 2300 St. Claude Avenue -- A post-Katrina grass-roots conversion project of an old public school. Classrooms have been renovated into artist studios space and there is public assembly space including a 1000 capacity theater with a large built-in stage. It has a large open space in front of the stage and some theatre style seating toward the back.

It's walking distance from Frenchman St and on a major bus line (and 1 block from the Hi-Ho Lounge). A really cool space, and this is a great opportunity to check it out... along with some killer shows...for free! Enjoy!

Oh I wish I would have seen this sooner!! I would have loved to enter this contest. I have always wanted to go to New Orleans. I adore the culture and the music and really hope to get there soon!

I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for next year!
