French Quarter to Slidell

Does anyone know if there is public transportation available from either CBD or French Quarter to Slidell. Will be in NO this weekend and understand there is a parade in Slidell. Really don't want to rent a car just for this event...but would hate to miss a parade!!

I don't believe that there's any public transportation to Slidell from New Orleans.

Leaving for the airport in just a few minutes. We'll just have to make other arrangements if we want to see the parade this weekend.
