Every wonder what goes on in New Orleans during Mardi Gras?
Well wonder no more, because TripSmarter.Com gives you a bird's eye view of Mardi Gras festivities in the French Quarter from the Exchange Alley Live Cam. If you are not familiar with the French Quarter, Exchange Alley is only two blocks from Bourbon Street.

The best time to watch the cam is between 5-6 p.m. CST. The street party is just getting started, and there is enough light for some great people watching!

It is a great way to see the action off Bourbon Street here in the FQ.

Actually it's also a great way for your friends back at home (in the freezing cold?) to see you having a great time in Nawlins'. Call 'em to show how warm, sunny and fun it is here for Mardi Gras.

Exchange Alley is located smack-dab in the middle of the block that's bound by Royal St/Chartres St/Conti St & Bienville St.
You cant miss it if you walk down Conti, from Bourbon, towards the River.

There's also a few GREAT restaurants on Exchange Alley. Pelican Club is one of the city's best.....LuLu's is a causual & highly acclaimed restaurant and La Fee Verte serves up some of the best wine and veggie dishes in the city. There's a couple of cool art galleries too. Plus....N.O.TV's offices are here too.

Actually, it's pretty nice in N.O. today.
The FQ is relatively clean, compared to previous years....
The sun was shining for about 15 minutes this morning too.

Wow....what a weekend! I'm sooo tired!

I'm off to church for Noon at St. Louis Cathedral...
Get a few more things done around here and then it's back to bed.....after I download some Mardi Gras pics from my camera, that is....
