Visitors to http://www.bacardilive.com may add a virtual bead to the necklace online, and for each of the first twenty-five-thousand
beads added, BACARDI will donate a dollar to the "New Orleans Tourism Rebirth Fund." This effort will bring the total amount
of funds contributed by BACARDI companies to more than $400,000 to support hurricane relief efforts on the Gulf Coast.

WHAT:
BACARDI(R) Rum will create the record for the World's Longest Strand of Mardi Gras beads as part of its BACARDI Gras
activities in New Orleans, February 23 - 28. The Record is expected to be reached on February 25th at 6 p.m. The beads will
be visible on Bourbon Street and the record strand will be completed on Saturday, February 25th; with the last bead hung by a
surprise guest. The World's Longest String of Mardi Gras Beads will be more than 7,000 feet in length; each bead will be 3" round
and the beads will be gold, purple and green.
