Admission To Bourbon Street Balconies

Does anyone have any info on how to gain access to a good balony on Bourbon during Mardi Gras. Have found two on the net, which require a buffet purchase, but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas. Thanks!!!

Balcony Access

Re; Balcony access for Mardi Gras,
Most bars and restaurants require special purchases to access the balconies. Mostly it's a flat-fee that may include drinks and a buffet, or something like that.
Some of the more popular balconies are at Bourbon St. Blues Co., Razzoo, Mike Anderson's Restaurant, Cat's Meow, Temptations Gentleman's Club and The Embers Steakhouse.
The prices can range from $10 to $100s of dollars. So, do your research and I'm sure that you'll find one that's just right for you.

Oh.....BRING LOTS OF BEADS UP THERE WITH YOU.....or you'll find yourself watching everyone else having all the fun.

New Orleans Original Daiquiris/Fat Tuesday rents out a private room with a balcony overlooking Bourbon street year round for extremely reasonable prices (I promise you, better than anywhere else you will find on Bourbon. The normal rates are strictly a low room rental cost, and though options are available, there is no requirements for food or high "per person" rates).

For special events such as Mardi Gras, Sugar Bowl, etc, the room is rented as a package deal. The room is currently available for this New Year's Eve! So, it would be a great way to celebrate the New Year and witness all the excitement of Bourbon Street and the Sugar Bowl. If you can get a group together of say 40 people (the room can hold up to 75 though), we can let the room go for $2,000. That's only $50 a head for OPEN BAR (all day from say 3PM-'til) and a great room and balcony in the center of all the action. The room is also still available for the weekend prior to Mardi Gras weekend (the weekend of Bacchus, etc) and private party options for group bookings are still availabe. If you are interested, contact me.
