Check in late afternoon. Get on your walking duds. Walk out of your place near the French Quarter. Stay off Bourbon UNLESS you have never been there. Hit all streets toward the river starting on Royal. Stop in one place for a cold drink and listen to some tunes from the CD jukebox. Meet people and chat. Walk again and end up at Crescent City Brewery over by Jax Brewery. Stop in at the bar for a dozen raw and a hand crafted pilsner of wheat beer. Wander over to Jax Brewery and check it out on the river. Walk out on the square and take a peek at the art and performances going on all around the square. Wander to Pat O's and get ONE hurricane or just a cold drink and sit in the courtyard. Walk in to the front lounge and sing along to CD's or hit the piano bar if you can get a seat. Right next door is the Preservation Jazz Band if you want to wait in line. Mosey down toward the the market and stop in at Jimmy B's and listen to some aucoustic music, have some conch fritters and a red stripe. Head back up the same street and grab a bag of beignets at Cafe Du Monde and head over to the riverwalk to munch them on the water. Just one of many wanderings in the Big Easy.
