Post Essence fest.

Hello everyone,

Last year was my first trip to the fest. and needless to day I thought it was a EXTREMELY HOTT event . It is something that I had too put on my yearly "to-do" list. Anyway I know it's early but are there any dates set yet? I would like to try to get my reservations early. Thanks in advance.

Garth will become famous soon enough
Essence Music Festival, 2003

As the saying goes, "There's always a party goin' on in New Orleans!" Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between one festival and another as the off-shoots of each become more and more popular. You'll be in good shape, however, if you're in New Orleans for the Fourth of July...the Essence Music Festival dates are "officially," July 3 through July 5, but there will be music everywhere...and especially Jazz in celebration of Independence Day and just about anything else they can think of in New Orleans!
Book now! Many hotels are offering special rates if you book ahead!
I'm sure you'll enjoy your time in New Orleans...especially during the Essence Music Festival. Have fun! July 3-July 5, 2003

Hotels

I've got it down to the Maison Dupuy and the La Meridien, this is where I need some help. Which is the best, they both look outstanding and have recieved good reviews. If there is anyone out there with any experience on this matter any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Maison DuPuy

Personally, I like Maison DuPuy... more character, smaller, more intimate and more "New Orleans".... plus, Le Meridien doesn't have NOTV... and we LOVE NOTV!
