A group of friends met us in New Orleans a few weeks ago, and we spent three days eating and drinking our way through the city. For the first time, we tried the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues, and we lucked up big time! The Zion Harmonizers were playing - and they were AWESOME! I usually don't like buffets and big group dining situations, but they put on a HELL of a brunch... awesome fried chicken, biscuits, omelets, grits, gumbos... and all the mimosas you can drink - all while these awesome gospel singers are just blowing your mind! It's a must do- we went to the 9am seating, and when we walked out of there around 11am, we were feeling SO good!
