Thumbs up Commander's Palace - The Best? You Bet!

At Commander’s Palace every customer is treated as though they are a VIP, the food is unfailingly superb and the atmosphere is completely unique.
After a dining experience there, you’ll know why Commander’s Palace is widely regarded as “The Finest Restaurant in America” by culinary experts and occasional diners alike

ANOTHER Brennans Gem

While Mr. B's will always be MY fave Brennans spot I agree this stop is ANOTHER must eat when in the Big Easy. Nice place to catch a more formal lunch and enjoy the southern afternoon too.

On our visit we bought the WONDERFUL cookbook and even got it signed by Ella herself who was on site at the time.

Superb service and scrumptious food. Make sure you get in a room you like as there are many and varied locations in this mansion and it CAN make a difference.

Also, from the Brennans and good as well: Palace Cafe on Canal, ****ie's Steakhouse right near Mr. B's and Bacco for sumptious Italian fare to name a few more.

Life IS a beach or a beignet in this case!

Thumbs up

Looks like almost everyone else agrees with you guys... check out all the great reviews for Commander's Palace and Mr. B's in our New Orleans dining guide! Lots of other New Orleans restaurants in there, too!

Commander's Palace Reopen!

I was lucky enough to be invited to participate in the last day of 'practice' before Commander's Palace reopened Sunday, October 1.

Lots of friends, long term customers and neighbors were invited to enjoy items from the new menu and fill out a 'report card' which evaluated everything from the service to the new interior design... to, of course, the food.

Well, take my word for it... it is ALL fabulous! And, everyone in New Orleans is breathing a giant sigh of relief - Commander's Palace is back!
