Beautiful Cafe

My husband and I had a long lunch at Palace Cafe today - we sat outside in the warm winter sunshine and watched the streetcars, and the mule-drawn carriages and the limousines and cabs and people and general great-city-stuff.

We ate Sauteed Oysters tossed with Angle Hair Pasta, Shrimp Remoulade and Fried Green Pickles... with a nice Macon Lugny. Ha! Sound funky? It was, and it was wonderful.

New Orleans is doing great... it's good to see.
