Where to stay in the French Quarter
A nice pool, romantic setting, the ambiance of, the historic French Quarter, and all within our price range of course. (9 nights @ about $150.00 a night.) What would you suggest, as we will be there for all of Jazz Fest. Or should we break it up and experience other areas. it is all open right now, but time is short and accomodations are being booked up fast. Thank you four input. J.C.

Hotel during Jazz Fest
I would suggest trying the Maison Dupuy Hotel on Burgundy St. in the FQ. They have a nice courtyard, great pool and awesome restaurant (Dominique's) centrally located.
It's about 2 blocks off Bourbon St with relative easy access to the Fairgrounds for Jazz Fest. Jazz Fest Shuttles will run from the FW area and downtown. Tickets include admission and transportation. Good luck! -Gene |
