I am planning on taking a trip to New Orleans, and I want to stay somewhere in the French Quarter. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Chateau Sonesta
Omni Royal Orleans
Astor Crowne Plaza (new)

Depending on the time of year you're visiting will determine your rate. Summer is least expensive. Fall/Spring are the highest demand times. Rates can vary from $100 - $300 per night at any of those.

Thanks guys! You have been a lot of help. There are lots of hotels in the accommodations section that look interesting, and all of Gene's suggestions look great. I am leaning toward the Omni Royal Orleans or the Hotel Provincial.
