Cool Place to Stay

I just spent the best weekend in New Orleans....

If you're heading in, you should check out the Creole Gardens Guest House
www.creolegardens.com

It's a work in progress but the rooms are awesome, the staff and owners are a lot of fun and very helpful, and the rates are really reasonable! It's out of the quarter but close enough to walk and right around the corner from the St. Charles Streetcar line... you can get anywhere but come home to a quiet neighborhood.

I really loved this place.

Very cool how each room has its own theme! Looks like a great place to stay. Do you travel to New Orleans often? Providence is a long drive!

I Love that part of town!

That B&B looks fabulous!
And, on top of that....its in an area of town that most visitors don't get the chance to see.
I'm glad that you enjoyed your visit!

EmeraldCoast101 is on a distinguished road
Thanks for the new tip on accommodations. Marriott is a good solid choice right off the quarter on Canal. I have stayed there so often the bellman recognize me each trip in. Ask for a room on the river side with a view. Also they have a great concierge lounge with free breakfast, nightly apps and drinks. I will have to say that it has been far too long since I have visited. Will go one weekend this summer when it is sweltering and not too crowded. Mr. B's here I come!!!!

Life can be a beignet too! (As in sweet)
