Maison Dupuy Hotel in the French Quarter

We just got back from a wonderful week at the Maison Dupuy hotel! It's located at the north end of the French Quarter, but is well within walking distance of all FQ area attractions and restaurants. It's about 2 blocks off Bourbon St., located at the corner of Dauphine and Toulouse.

The hotel itself is really nice. It's a boutique hotel and has tons of New Orleans charm. The rooms are very nice and service was outstanding! From the valets, to the front desk, to the concierge and the maids, they were all very friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is beatuiful and we were told by our carriage driver that it is one of the top hotels for weddings in NOLA (there were 4 weddings while we were there). The courtyard is awesome, with a big pool and hot tub... and plenty of room for relaxing and getting some sun. It's all beautifully landscaped and incredibly relaxing.

We had 2 rooms joined by a shared balcony. One of the rooms was a little bigger than the other, but both had plenty of space. We saw one of the suites and it looked really nice and big if you need lots of room.

We ate at the in-house restaurant, the French Quarter Bistro, for breakfast and it was delish! Did not get a chance to eat at Dominiques (the other in-house restaurant) but I hear it's amazing.

Rates are reasonable (look for specials on their website) and parking is an additional $28/day.

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay somewhere with real New Orleans charm, a great location and awesome service.
