With the recent rough surf conditions (we've had plenty of Red Flag days) the PCB/Emerald Coast area has seen an increase in drownings and swimmers in distress.
Pretty much all of them could have been avoided if swimmers would have obeyed the Flag Warning System in use by most of the counties along the coast.

And for goodness sake, don't go in the Gulf if the RED FLAGS are flying. Find a pool somewhere if you want to swim that bad.
