You need more shows like clubhour on your station. How about a live show or something more interactive that will make your station more appealing than just running back to back commericals.

How about a live beach show? (isn't called beach tv?) where people select the spot where you will be at etc.

tdtvro, I think that is a great idea! I bet you will have no problem going out and selling a show like that, selling advertising for it, and producing it since it is such a great idea.

Once you have produced a pilot and have advertisers lined up, I'm sure both Beach TV and other stations will be happy to give it a look for broadcast consideration.

I've always said that no great idea should go untried. That is the great thing about the United States: Everyone can work to garner support for their great ideas, show they can work, and introduce them to the public!

LOL ... yes and no. Yes, because most people who ***** about things like this have no clue how an industry works and/or couldn't do it themselves to save their lives. If you can't do something, don't ***** that someone else isn't doing it.

On the flip side, I pilot my new ideas all the time. I need dining content on my Vegas site, so I pitched the idea to a famous local culinary institute in conjunction with an upstart food website and we are rolling.

Tripsmarter.com led the way in streaming video mass availability on the web, hands down. Period. And my company is now leading the way in my area with streaming because it is a good idea, and I was able to get a bunch of people excited about it. Once I piloted the idea and showed it could be done.

I'm an unabashed fan of Beach TV and this site. I'm watching Destin Beach TV here on a Sunday morning. Pancake Creperie commercial is on. I ate there two years ago because of the Beach TV commercial and I will again. Makes me want to drive to the airport and go on vacation this very minute!

What tdtvro calls ads, I call informative. If I am shopping for a house, I want a qualified realtor who will help narrow down the selection and who knows the area. Investing in Destin gets me familiar with the area, and presents realtors I might want to talk to. Not homes, but people. People who can help me. A win-win.

I've told (Tripsmarter head honcho) Will that I've ripped off some good ideas from this site and I'm probably not done. This is one of the best area guides anywhere, for any location and Beach TV is far and above most tourism TV stations and programs.

The proof: I'm in the busienss. Hard to sell to me. And I've happily enjoyed spending plenty of money on businsses that were featured on Beach TV and Tripsmarter. It helps me make an informed decision. I don't go on vacation to think. I go to enjoy!
