When Does Everything Re-open??
Hey all! I'm planning a Feb. trip to get away from the cold winter blues... Any ideas on when everything re-opens?
And I have to ask the people who know... any truth to the LaVela closing rumor? I ask because I haven't seen anything about it on the news websites and I'm not ready to believe a rumor.

Beach Scene
Feb 28 is when the beach kicks off the new season. Generally, most business with any interest in making some money will open their doors for spring break. With the exception of Miracle Strip & Shipwreck Island, the beach will be in full swing by the 7th of March. The water will be too chilly in March to really enjoy so find a place with a heated pool or hot tub. Things warm up nicely in April and May - Perfect Weather. June, July & August are Hot, hot hot & humid.
Late August, September & October are perfect weather again and you can find great room rates at the beach.
