Thumbs up Camping on the beach?

hello, first time poster here.

I have a quick Q for the locals.... Can you camp on the beach for free? I'd like to camp out there one night before we goto our hotel. also, can you be on the beach all night or does it close?

Thank you so much!!!

Camping on the Beach is only allowed in designated areas (St. Andrews State Park for example). Admission is very cheap - $3 per vehicle or something like that and I think you may have to pay a few bucks to reserve a campsite.

I don't think there is a curfew for the Beach.

Hope that helps!
