Wife & I are coming to Panama city in Nov> Havn't been there in MANY years---ideas on a good place for a late 40's couple to have FUN????????????????? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Schooner's and Boatyard should be great places for some dining, drinking and dancing in November. Many people think that's the best time of year to be on Panama City Beach. You can enjoy St. Andrews State Park during the day...and a trip through South Walton County will be fun too! Downtown Panama City and St. Andrews Marina area are also have interesting shops, galleries and restaurants. Fishing is still good too!

I will throw in a 2nd on Schooners, always great place. The Saltwater grill is good place to eat and has piano bar with a little dancing. I have not partied at the Boatyard but I have eaten there and suggest you eat before going. IMHO.

Must've hit a bad night there??? Have you been this summer? Konrad Jochum has introduced some great new dishes and the service has been outstanding lately.

My favorites are the Buffalo Shrimp, the BLT (bacon, lobster and tomato), the Grilled Tuna Cubano, and the Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pie.

If you go again, consider the daily/nightly special.... Konrad usually whips up something very, very tasty.

Oh, and it's a pretty cool place to party. Especailly upstairs on Friday nights. Lots of locals.

I agree with Schooners, and alos suggest Ruthie T's on Thomas Drive. Wednesday night is bar wars with tons of locals.

Yes, Shcooners is one of the best clubs for the 40 somthing crowd... I still go to Club LaVela sometimes, but they dont seem to like old guys like me..
