Panama City Beach after Ivan

Hello! My family is visiting PCB the week of October 16-23rd. How extensive is the damage to that area? Also...we are staying at the Celadon Beach Resort down on the west end. Does anyone know if it was damaged or flooded? We are staying on the first floor in the end condo. I tried to contact the owners, but I'm sure they are without power also.

Please update me if you can. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone there!!

I haven't heard of any damage on the West end... and since the storm surge wasn't quite as bad as expected here in PCB, I'm sure they are fine.

October is a great time to visit and I'm positive everything will be back to normal by the time of your vacation!

Thanks!!

Thanks so much for your reply....we have been worried about the beach etc there and if we would still be able to make it in October. We come down every year to PCB and LOVE it. Also hope that Schooners is fine as we like spending several relaxing afternoons there as well.

Best of luck to all that have clean up coming. Can't wait until we are on that beautiful beach again.
