If you live in pcb...can you tell me if the celadon beach resort on the west end is ok. I've tried contacting the owners and get no response.

Thanks!

Celadon

Just stopped in at Celadon, to check on some condo's we clean for some people that live out of state. Talked with one of the workers and he said all was ok, but they did take on water on the first floor. No power or phones. West end of beach got the worst but most was water damage. A few roofs and alot of signs were the worst, they said on the news we had lost about 4 foot of beach. if I can help you any more just call me at 850-532-0021 or home 850-236-8623 again all is well at Celadon except 100's had water damage.

Sandy,

I checked WMBB.com yesterday for updates it did state that a few mobile homes were destroyed in Reid's Court. Hopefully this will not effect you.. You may want to visit their site and Contact them for exact address.

Thanks for checking on this for me. We are actually staying in a condo on the far west end on the first floor. The owners are Reede and Linda Hoskin. We are coming there on October 16th....do you think the damage is too severe or will they be able to have it repaired by then. That's five weeks from today.....so I'm really hoping for a miracle. We haven' t been to PCB for 3 years now and this is a long awaited trip.

Thanks for the research that you've done.....please update if possible. It's great that we are able to hear from someone regarding this issue.

Hoskin first floor!

If you would like to email me at hunter161_2000@yahoo.com I will be glad to drive up that way and check it out, give me the name of the place or address. I will get back to you. Let me just say to all pcb (the island) from bridge to bridge where very lucky.
We did have damage but I fill that within a few weeks pcb will be back up and running just like we always do. Not to leave out the Thomas dr area it was hit pretty hard and will be a while before things are back to normal.

beaches

We had reservations in Destin and because of the hurricane are unable to go. We just herd that Panama City was open and ready for visitors. We have only been to Panama City one time, and we stayed at the Sugar Beach Condos. Do you know anything about Sugar Beach Condos or the beach in that area. Or where would you recommend staying. It is just my husband and I and we are in our 50's and we like it not so crowded and quiet. It was October when we were there two years ago and it was very quiet at Sugar Beach. We love the beach so we would want to be where there wasn't much damage to the beach.

Thank you for your help. We were about ready to head north to Door County, but would much rather come to FL.

Reid Court

Thanks everyone willing to help us out. I was checking on Reids for a co-worker. Reids called on Saturday and informed them that their place was one of the 5 that burnt down. It survived another hurricane but the fire from the downed power line got it. Everything is a total loss.

Thanks again for helping us out.

Sandy
