My wife and I are heading to PCB at the end of the month. We're in our early thirties and looking for dance clubs. We're partial to techno / rave / disco / funk stuff we can generally find at gay clubs rather than the big-***, top-40, drink-till-you drop meat markets. We want fun, friendly, open places to shake our asses.

The best techno/rave club would be either Latitudes or the "underground" room at Club La Vela. I'm not an expert in the gay department, but I've learned to avoid one gay club downtown called "Fiesta". Schooners has great live music and bands at night.

Why avoid Fiesta?

Because I'm straight and a friend of mine was walking by it and got hit on.

How many women out there been hit on outside a dance club? I'd take it a a compliment! Still looking for reviews of dance clubs, including reviews of Fiesta.
