I can tell you not to use this one. They say they only go 40 mph and the tour guide was going wide open. I also asked for the owner when we got back, we got to look on shell island for 7 minutes. They are not tour guide they are not what they say on their web site either. And the tour guide was a smart $%%. Go rent you a pontoon and have a better time throough the date park. Also too the tour guide kept leaving us just because we we slow and the water was very choppy.

I have to disagree with what was said about Island waverunner tours. We have been going out on their jet ski tour for 8 or 10 years and have always had a blast. No problems at all and the guides were always great.

St. Andrew's State Park is a great place to take the family to snorkel. It costs $3-5 a car load, has a concession stand (store), restroom facilities, and paddleboat rentals. There is a water basin protected on one side by the beach and the other by the Jetties (rock wall where boats enter/exit the bay). The water is calm and clear and at it's deepest point may be around 7 ft. most is only waist deep which is great for the kids. You will see schools of fish, some small tropical fish, and rock crabs. I've been on many occasions and have also seen sting rays (small ones), jelly fish, a flounder, and a large grouper (but I think he had just been released from a fisherman in the channel). Several years ago me and a friend had a couple dolphins swim up near us to feed further back towards the bay. So you never know what you'll see but you will have a good time. In fact you'll probably go more than once. I also recommend walking down towards the bay where you're sure to find some larger shells.
