We are heading to PCB tomorrow. I tried calling Hamiltons and they're not open- a message answered that said they were closed due to the hurricane and see you next year... did they have significant damage in the hurricane?
Also, when do you think they will be offering umbrellas and chairs on the beach for rent? I looked on the webcam today and saw lots of people but no rental chairs.

Hamiltons was taken out during hurricane Ivan (only half of the building is there). There is talk of rebuilding but nothing concrete.

Odds are if they were offering umbrellas and chairs where you're staying before the hurricane, they still will.

I think I read in "Dennis" posts that Hamilton's was damaged last year - Ivan. TV 7 had a video showing it, also.

Chairs? They may be floating somewhere in the gulf!

Thanks. My husband just said he thought he remembered hearing about a tornado damaging Hamiltons during Ivan.
