Hi. My husband and I always visit late September/early October. We've lucked out so far as far as hurricanes are concerned and don't want to push our luck next year. Would love some input about visting in early June? I've seen several posts asking about sea-weed-is it bad in spring? Is the water warm enough to play in? How about the flies-when do they get really bad? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We time-share so it's time to get our reservations in for next year...Keep your fingers crossed for us for this October!

Me and the wife were there from June 5th - 8th and the water was plenty warm enough and the seaweed was not bad at all. I can't remember being bothered by any flies. I have been " beach sick" since we left. I wish June of '06 would hurry and get here

I've been going down to PCB in early to mid June for years, and I've never really noticed a fly problem, not even in July. Sometimes the seaweed can come up, but it's been rather bad only a time or two in the past 20 years I've been going there. The water has always been warm, too. I'd have to say that June is my favorite time of the year to vacation at PCB.
