I heard that at the summit you couldn't go out on the patio and I was wondering if that was true or not. There 10 of us going down July 27-31 and we are staying at the summit. Any help please.

Just returned home from the Summit. The walkway out to the beach had some damage from Dennis and they were repairing it and putting on a new roof. I don't know if the roof had damage or if it was time to replace it. We did not notice the workers and noise. It was beautiful, the water and beach. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy!

Did they get the new elevators that they were suppost to get or are they the ones that been ther atleast 10yrs. They were suppost to replace them . Last year when we were down there the elevtors didn't work half the time.

The summit does have new elevators. During our stay there was no vacancy so the elevators were crowded and hot but did'nt make a impact on our great vacation!!

Also someone has bought crabby macs and now it is Bikini Bob's. They have the best hamburgers and friendly service.
