Hi all! I was just wondering what the weather is down there right now? Is there any seaweed? We are comming down next friday and we can't wait! We'll lay out on the beach rain or shine!

I just got done eating at Schooners and there is seaweed everywhere, but the weather couldn't be any better. It's in the mid 80's (it has been since monday), sunny, and a pleasant breeze is blowing.

The good thing is that the beach restoration has made the beach (at least at Schooners) twice as big as it was. So you can lay out and you won't be anywhere near the seaweed.

Thanks gomer_3333! I am a little bummed about the seaweed but at least the weather is nice. The seaweed won't hurt me! We get in seaweed fights and throw it at each other! Prolly shouldn't get in the water anyway cause of all the recent shark attacks! Ahh! Anyway I am glad the weather is nice! Hopefully it stays that way! Thanks Again! :)

I wouldn't be too bummed, the seaweed in the water is day to day. Even if there is seaweed on the beach, there isn't always seaweed in the water.

There will be at least a couple of days you can swim seaweed free.

Water is gorgeous, very little seagrass. Soooooo good to be here!
