I was wondering if anyone could tell me the condition of the pier. I heard it was damaged, we are coming down on the 30th of this month, and my husband usually shark fishes off that pier. Also was concerned about the seaweed. Would appreciate any input.

The Dan Russell Pier in Panama City Beach took a big hit.

“Between Ivan and Dennis, I could safely say that we’ve lost about half of it,” PCB Mayor Sullivan said. The already damaged end of the concrete pier buckled Sunday during Hurricane Dennis.
