Not to worry, the panama city beach town weathered great....no closures at all. And the place is boomin. make sure and stop by coyote ugly and maybe even eat at pompano's (great food) alot of people hang out at schooner's and boatyard if you look for somewhere to join along with lavela

Pompano's has GREAT food! We've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. Haven't been to The Boatyard yet but are hoping to try it in September. Had drinks at Pineapple Willy's and Hammerhead Fred's!

Cool

We love Hammerhead Fred's!!! We eat there 2 (if not more) times while we're down. The food and service are always great. Ate at Pompano's once and we weren't happy. The service was terrible and the food was cold when we finally got it. Maybe we should give them another chance.

I'd say give Pampano's another chance, we've never been disappointed. We've always said we were going to try The Boar's Head but haven't gotten there yet. Of course, Angelo's is always a good choice too. It's worth the wait in line!

droptop will become famous soon enough
Angelo’s and Pompanos are both good. Try the charred prime rib at pompanos. I walked into the Boars Head and checked the menu then turned around and left. It was pretty expensive. Try Bayou Bill's Crab House. They have huge portions! Two people can split one dinner.

Yeah, there's definitely still people down here. Hell, I was just hangin' out behind Edgewater last night and met 2 babes. I'd rather vacation to PC during the Summer rather than the Spring anyway, mainly because it isn't a sausage fest, there's no lines to get in clubs, and hotels are cheap. La Vela is undoubtedly the best club in town for the 18-28 age group. The only other clubs I would even consider are Spinnaker, Stetsuns, and Coyote Ugly. After Spring Break, most of the smaller beach clubs (Harpoon Harry's, Hammerhead Fred's, Sandpiper Tiki Bar, Latitudes, Sharky's, etc.) lose their touch. Trust me, I've been around the club scene here for 3 years. If you decide to go to La Vela, I'd make it a Friday or Saturday night since they are the most packed and the best time to be there is from 11pm-1am. No matter where you go, make sure to pre-party, and the more friends you bring, the better. Good luck!
