Ok, does anybody know anything about Busch Gardens coming to PC? I know if anybody knows they will not say, but I would bet it does. I have heard the name six flags as well, but I would bet Busch Gardens. If not, why would they build this super new highway heading towards Ebro? Anybody sold any acreage along this route? :) :)

A possibility of a new amusement park would have nothing to do with state planning on a highway. However, 79 is being 4-laned because ...

1. Evacuation route needed to serve the growing population south of the bay.

2. Tons of development on the north side of the bay. People who will be wanting to spend time (and possibly work) in PCB and South Walton. St. Joe is already selling up there. (Side note: I'm kicking myself for not buying St. Joe stock about four years ago. I had other things to invest in, which is fine. However, go look up stock symbol JOE and look at the five year chart).

3. The new airport. 79 is the only real route from the new airport to the beaches.

Having said all that, somewhere on these boards last winter I made a post suggesting that a huge amusement park along 79 seems like almost a sure bet in the next decade.
