We coming to PCB july30th- Just wondering if I-98 from Pensocola was accessible. We are flying in to Pensocloa. Also, Does anyone know if Shell Island
got damage from Dennis.Thank you for the info.

Well... I-10 from Pcola to PCB is probably your best bet.

The reason I say that is because HWY 98 on Okaloosa Island (between Destin and Ft Walton) is down to 2 lanes because of damage. It's a more scenic drive, but there's no short way around Okaloosa Island, and traffic will bottleneck prettyb ad. So unless you don't mind waiting in traffic, or you're passing through late at night, I-10 would be quickest route.

Oh yeah.. Shell Island is fine. A small channel was cut through the middle of it by the hurricane, but it may have already filled in by now.

i am in panama city beach , have friends in pensacola and from what i know all roads are open. the beach got normal erosion here in panama city beach but not as bad as what it got in santa rosa by destin. shell island still as gorgeous as usual. the anderson fishing and sightseeing tours still running and are great. they are by captain andersons.
