Hi All! What is the weather like down there today? Is the water clear or is there seaweed? We are leaving in 2 days and CAN'T WAIT to get there!!!

From one "beachbum" to another...have fun on your trip. We are leaving in two days as well. I, too, am curious how the weather, water, and seaweed situation is!!!

We are also going in just a few days. I have been looking at the beach cam on the Spinnaker web site and the seaweed has really gone off the beach in the last couple of days. Of course, cant tell what the water is like but the sand is clearing up.

I spent the day on the beach at Schooners yesterday.
The sand is beautiful!
The water is beautiful!
No seaweed or jelly fish or anything ...
Gorgeous!

Weather is almost always the same in July and August... Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon... pretty and sunny in the earlier part of the day.
The thunderstorms cool things down and are always pretty, if you ask me!

Usually, even if it's raining inland, the breeze off the Gulf keeps the beaches clear.

Should be a typical week next week! And, the week after that and the week after that...

Come on Down... the weather is sunny , blue skies. Water has been a little choppy. But you can always hang out at the beach at schooners and walk up to get cooled down. let us hear how your trip goes
