The seventh annual Mexico Beach Art & Wine Festival starts at 3 p.m. Saturday Oct. 15th at the Driftwood Inn on U.S. 98. Work by more than 30 artists will be on display and for sale, and $2,000 in prize money is at stake. In addition to wine tastings, food from Mexico Beach restaurants, beer and soft drinks will be available.

In Sunny Hills, on State 77 in Washington County, the Fall Festival and Oktoberfest runs from Friday through Sunday. Attractions include food, arts and crafts, live music, a circus, a parade, golf and fishing tournaments, a triathlon, a health fair, and hot-air balloon and helicopter rides. The Flutterby Festival at Gulf Place, County 30-A and 393 in Santa Rosa Beach on Saturday and Sunday, will feature arts, crafts, entertainment, educational exhibits, a daily kids butterfly parade, and a caterpillar obstacle course!!! For information, call (850) 622-5970.

Howl-O-Ween at the Seacrest Wolf Preserve, off Washington County 278/Pioneer Road opens at 1 p.m. Friday and runs through Sunday with family activities and tours. Admission is $5, camping is $10 to $20 and a Saturday night feast is $20 for adults, $15 for children. Proceeds benefit the preserve. For information, call 850-875-4225.
Seacrest Wolf Preserve, is a non-profit charitable organization located on "The Oaks Farm" which encompasses 430 beautiful acres in Washington County, Florida. It is currently the only wolf preserve in the Southeastern United States licensed by the State of Florida and the United States Department of Agriculture. |

Dog-A-Ween is at 2:30 p.m. this Saturday (October 15th) at Tommy Thomas Chevrolet Service Center, 2251 W. 23rd St. The event features a pets and owners costume contest. The Greater Panama City Dog Fanciers Association is the sponsor, and the entry fee is $3. For more information, call 850-747-9556.
