In the first of a series of six upcoming musical events, Dr. David Ott, Director and Conductor of the Philharmonic of Northwest Florida, will perform Sunday, November 6, starting at 6 pm, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 2001 W. 11th St, Panama City.

His piano presentation will include both classical and sacred selections as well as accompanying Ms. Jody Schnell, vocalist, who will perform two solos. Ms. Schnell teaches music at Bay High and conducts the Philharmonic choir. There is no charge for the performance, but an offering will be taken to help offset expenses for the musicians.

Future musical events in this series include performances by the Emerald Coast Chorale on Jan. 22, 06, The Rev. Michael Bryan and Doug Newsome Classical and Modern Christian Music on Feb. 19, Bay Arts String Quartet on Mar. 19, New Gulf Coast Choir (over 60 members) on Apr. 16, and the Gann Brothers on May 21.
