Hate to do this to the place as it looks like a fairly nice place but here are the Trip Advisor reviews from February of this year and several from 2005. You can go to the second link and read the reviews! Their website is the first link. Don't know how old it is though. Hope this helps.

The Fontainbleau is one of the older places left in Panama City Beach, but that's not automatically a bad thing. I still love the place. A good friend of mine stayed there a month ago, and she said her group really enjoyed themselves. Every place will gather a few complaints, so I wouldn't rule out staying at the Fontainbleau because of a bad review or two. There are good reviews on that previously posted link, too. I'd recommend trying it out!

I agree with you. Everyone is going to have their likes and dislikes. I thought it looked like not a bad place when we drove past it last year. And the pictures of the rooms on the website look nice. But then, how old is the website? That is why I put the website first. I didn't notice any good reviews of what I read though unfortunately, but maybe I missed seeing them. Surprised a developer hasn't bought that out to build a hi rise, same for the Peeks Motel.

MoJo will become famous soon enough
I ditto Beachnut - I am really surprised it is still open. I definitely thought a developer would have grabbed it up by now. I don't mean to put anybody down, but maybe I am spoiled - I like clean, fresh, new and there are just too many great new places to stay.
