Question Thomas Drive bypass overpass
so I hear the overpass is open now. does it help with traffic or just make it worse? when will they start phase 2 on the other side?

It's AWESOME!! Took no time at all to get to the college! And phase 2 is underway -- but there are funding issues -- so it will be delayed -- imagine that!

yeah, a week ago it took me 10 minutes to get to the college coming from the beach side, now it takes me 3 minutes!!

The new flyover is great! Phase 2 starts when they secure funding and will include addtional lanes in both directions. Should help traffic flow by GCCC a little smoother.

The new fly over is great going east into town from the beach. You still have the bottle neck at the other side of the bridge, but I live in Lynn Haven and it has easily taken 10-15 minutes off of my drive home during rush hour traffic.
