Red Water Cafe Weekly Wine Tasting
Red Water Cafe
13528 Front Beach Road Panama City Beach At the Y of Front and Middle Beach Phone: 850-249-2337 Wine Tasting - 'A' from Acacia (Sanoma, Ca.) & Archetype (Australia) Thursday, December 21, 2006, 5:30pm - 7:30pm Many of you are familiar with Acacia Winery, who produce some of the tastiest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in California. They have just release a new line of wines dubbed "A". They have produced a light, crisp Chardonnay and a smooth, fruit forward Pinot Noir. Come by today and get you first taste of these two yummy new releases! Acacia "A" Chardonnay This wine offers aromas of apple, mango, fig and guava. The medium-bodied palate maintains impressive balance and flavor concentration, so it will hold its own with rich foods. The flavors of tropical and ripe stone fruit complement its rich, long finish. You're gonna love this bright and crisp Chardonnay that is perfect for summer afternoons! Acacia "A" Pinot Noir One whiff of this Pinot and you are in heaven with aromas of violets, black cherry and hints of vanilla. It is medium-bodied with rich flavors of dark fruits; plum and black cherry lead to a soft, lingering finish with hints of baking spices and touches of soft oak. The perfect wine with cedar-plank salmon or wild mushroom risotto! Archetype wines are made from exceptional vineyards in the Barossa - Australia's renowned winegrowing region. The wines are produced at Chateau Yaldara, a landmark winery in the heart of the Barossa that was originally founded in 1867, then re-built in 1965, by the joint winemaking team of Napa Valley's Bob Masyczek and Australia's Thomas Jung. World renowned for its big, blockbuster Shiraz wines, the Barossa is Australia's equivalent of the Napa Valley in terms of prestige and name recognition. It is also home to some of the highest-rated Australian wineries including Henshke, Penfolds, and Yalumba. Hope to see you at the wine tasting............. We will also be open December 24th for Sunday Brunch........ Happy Holidays to all................... The Red Water Cafe Staff.................... |
