Thanks for the video Smith, but it doesn't tell a whole lot about the restaurant. So, here's some more info:

Firefly was just opened by the owners of Canopies (recently closed and to be replaced by condos) and features a similar creative and delicious menu, as well as, some new items that should be equally as good. Same Chef and much of the same staff as Canopie's (a long-time Panama City favorite)

I haven't been, yet... but I plan to go soon and wil report back with a review.

A good friend in the restaurant business went last week and had nothing but great things to say about Firefly. I;m really looking forward to trying it out!

We ate there Thursday and the food was very good. This is really going to be a great place. The deco theme is spanish courtyard with a huge tree in the middle and firefly type lights in the tree. The waiting area is impressive with lots of leather. The food is upscale and the knowledge of the server is impressive. We were well taken care of by our server and she took plenty of time to talk with us abaout the menue. There was no mad rush they were very calm and attenttive to our every need. My wife had the tenderlion and I had the salmon and bouth were outstanding. They have a lot of organic grown veggies and the best wine list around. This is a dining experince that nobody in this area can top. It is more expensive but it is up annother level.

I was a little upset to hear that Canopies was closing until I found out they were re-opening with under a new name at a different location. Can't wait to try it!
