Hey everyone i had a quick question for anyone,,,,,has anyone every left a pop up quick canopy on the beach over night with there stuff,,,,,,i know destin and gulf shores/orange beach allows it and i was wondering if panama city allows it,,,,,,,p.s. going down on the 31st see yall there

I really dont know the rules but we go down several times a year and their is always some left out all night so I really dont see why you couldnt. Leaving soon too again..Cant wait!!! Have fun!

I have used one for the last 4 years at different condos and they always let me. It is best to check with beach rental people so you set up in a location that does not bother them. At most places we just pile up our chairs and leave them also. Be sure to get one with a plastic type tarp on top for the ones with a fabric top sometimes are only a 15 rated suncreen. Sometimes we find one on sale and just give it to someone who is staying longer when we leave.

just got back from PCB; put our GA. canopy up and left it all week with our beach chairs stacked under it. been doing this for years with no trouble!! water was the clearest we've seen in years!!

Welcome to the forums bamabengals and vetteowner! The water is especially clear this year... and not very much seaweed. It's been a very beautiful (and hot!) summer in PCB!

Bamabengals - I would agree with Bamaden about checking with the beach rental people... and maybe check with your resort/hotel front desk. I've seen them left out overnight, but differnet resorts may have different rules.

Those canopies are a necessity this time of year... just don't leave anything of value in it overnight.

Doesn't look like anything significant will affect our weather this weekend... so it will probably be really hot and sunny, with occasional clouds and a small chance of rain. That's the typical summer weather pattern unless a larger weather system affects our area.
