I remember reading that one pier is being worked on or torn down. Is it Dan Russell or the old pier at Goofy Golf ? Coming down in July , trying to decide on a condo. Don't want to stay next to where they're tearing down a pier ( like you can get away from construction down there ). Still , gotta be there for the sand & sun !! And oh yeah, the FUN !!!!!!

Its the one by Goofy Golf I believe. They aren't tearing it down (yet) or at least the last time I looked at it they weren't, but its been closed for some time now. I wish they would hurry up and do something with it though like build another one or something...

It's actually the Dan Russel Pier they're tearing down and rebulding. We drove by it today an dthey had already started. I think it was a $19 million project, 1,500 foot pier and facilities to compliment Pier Park (across the street).

The pier by Goofy Golf (County Pier) may have some minor construction going on right now, but nothing major.

I thought she was talking about the County Pier b/c thats the one that has been closed for a while now. I had no idea the one by pier park was going under construction.

I just hope the project is finished by next year when we come down. I will be back to PCB this year in July, but I am sure it won't be done by then.

Also, idrivefast was right about the County Pier (M.B. Miller Pier) being under construction. It is scheduled for a 3 million dollar makeover... but, that's all the info I have on that one right now.

Dan Russel Pier (city pier) is scheduled for completion in Summer 2009.

Not sure about the County Pier.
