Don't mean to duplicate Bowhunters' thread, but...never been to PCB this late in the summer,how are the crowds at that time ? i've been told that after the 4th it's not so crowded...'ppreciate the input...any info would be great....thanks

There's still a good crowd here then. Late july isn't the peak of the summer, but it doesn't really thin out here until after Labor Day.

Major crowds will be gone after the 4th. There are still plenty of people, but not too many. There will be no 45min to 1 hr drive times down sections of front beach road. Which is always a good thing

We always go the first week of June right after school let's out and I don't think it is to bad. Personally, I like a few people down there, which my wife is always surprised at because usually I hate to be in crowds, but I do like to watch people while sitting on the beach with a cold one. It is second only to going to a boat marina at the local lake on a nice spring saturday afternoon, with a few brews and watching all the pleasure boaters and jetskiers trying to launch their boats and maneauvre their trailers at the ramps.. It is hilarious...
