We all know that spring break in pcb is over and summer in pcb is about to begin. How do you think summer in pcb will play out? I think it will be a good summer in pcb. Resturants and nightclubs are going to be jumpin' and everybody is going to have a great time.

It's shaping up to be a great year! Lots of new places open, Pier Park, several new condos, shopping and dining on Middle Beach and Back Beach... now if we can just get lucky again and have a summer full of good weather (no big storms) it should be a summer for the local record books!

I'm ready to get down there and see Pier Park with my own eyes. 35 days and counting.

Pier Park is shaping up to be a great place to shop. It already has a huge theater (which i been inside and its nice inside). I hope we dont have any storms at all. The weather I think is going to be sunshine everyday. Also in pcb, they just opened up that new road yesterday from middle beach to front beach called churchwell drive I think. But gagirl, pier park and pcb is waitng for you so come on down and have some fun just like everybody else is going to do.

If all plans follow through, I will be in PCB in July and October. I would be there tomorrow if I could.

You do need to get here as soon as possible cuz your missing out on all the fun.

Almost came down this weekend, but Saturday's weather looked a little "iffy". Hope to make it down for a quick weekend before our Memorial Day trip.

Gas isn't cheap, but airfare is getting even more expensive.

For now, I think that PCB and Destin will do very well with people who are going to drive somewhere instead of dealing with summer air travel at obnoxious prices.

If the dollar stays worthless and the new airport is built, the influx of European visitors will keep the area humming strong.

I think the gas prices may affect the summer crowds, but I hope not. Regardless, I'll be there in 37 days...yeeesss!!!!

Your right Brian, gas prices here in pcb are crazy. But even though gas prices are high, I don't think that will slow down the people strorming into pcb. LOL at what Brian said about gagirl.

just got back. went down for a quick weekend (fri,sat,sun) . going back july 19. it was great, pier park is really cool, the style reminds me of key west. gas was $3.55/gal. in pcb , same price here in mcdonough ga. looking forward to a great summer down there

I'm glad you had a good time down here gabchbum. Now you can come back for more fun and excitement. I think this year is going to be one crazy summer with all kinds of things going on.

I'll be back in PCB June 25-27 for a mini get-a-way... I know thats during the week... but it works for me. Anyone know of anything going on then? Which clubs are open in the summer?
