People just don't ge it

We all know that there are double red flags out on the beaches. So why do people think it is still ok to swim in the water. They're dumb. Double red flags = danger, don't go in the water. But I guess they don't get that lol.

The last few days of our trip there were double red flags. The sheriff would drive by, tell people to get out of the water, and drive on. As soon as the sheriff was out of site, these dumb people were right back in the water. There were 5 people pulled from the water in two days, and two people DIED while we were there from drowning. Those flags aren't just there for looks.

Your right, these double read flags aren't just for looks. They mean something. For some people, they mean nothing at all. I heard on the news last week that the police I think it was rescued a certain amount of people before noon. That is crazy.

I totally agree with you sportsfan1084. I posted the below comment on another forum and people thought I was terrible.
I hate that people are dead, but if they aren't smart enough to heed the warnings and obey the flags................

I agree

You can not fix stupidity. People that are out there under these conditions are asking for it. It is simply Darwinism at work. I also hope they make the people they rescue pay for the rescue expenses. This is not a taxpayer responsibility.
