Y'all a little wet down there today?

Weather's great! A little hot, but the storm hasn't reached us, yet. It might miss us altogether (I hope)

Grand Lagoon National starts Thursday and we need some dry weather to get out party on (and our fishing, of course)

I hope it misses you too, and not totally for selfless reasons!!

We're going to take a roadtrip in a couple of weeks through Tennessee to Orange Beach, andn back up through New Orleans. So please keep your tropical storms in check down there, mmmkay?

Fay seems to be doing the entire Florida Tour:

Starting out in Key West... up to Naples, over toward South Beach... but heading north to Orlando.

Now hanging out in Daytona Beach (Fay must be a NASCAR fan)...

Looks like Fay will skip Jacksonville... but has an interest in visiting the State Capital (must be a Florida State fan)...

And now, Fay is looking to visit PCB and Destin. Obviously, Fay must watch Beach TV online and wants to see it in person.

Let me note that the above is in jest, but only because Fay has not killed or harmed a number of people.

But it does look like (as a storm or depression) Fay will be finishing the Florida tour and even moving on to Mobile.

I think Georgia and South Carolina need a little rain... somebody tell Fay...

Just a little rain.... I think the media did a good job sensationalizing this storm. It's been a non-event for florida except the few counties near daytona that got flooded.

(and it postponed the Grand Lagoon National... dang it!)

Haveing a close watch of this Gustav thats way out at the moment but its deffinatly heading into the gulf!

We (in south Georgia) got 6 inches of much needed rain from Fay.
